Journey resumes. Canada and Hong Kong finished – Fremantle to Melbourne road trip ahead.

Set off from Freo after the school rush hour and headed up Roe Highway to Midland. Swung a right and headed for York. A small outback town with lots of heritage. A great looking town with old buildings everywhere. The town hall stands tall and proud along the street.

Next major stop was Merridin. Came upon these grain silos painted up good and proper.

Next stop was Coolgardie. Saw these old house with a “lot” full of old farming and mining machinery.

Arrived in Kalgoorlie about 6.00pm

Tomorrow, we are off to Norseman with a stopover at the Balladonia Hotel Motel
