A slow day today. Road from Penola to Bendigo was fantastic, except for the slow road trains picking up cattle and sheep from the stations.

Got to Bendigo later than expected. On first glance, city is great. Bendigo is an inland city in Australia and fourth most populous city in the state (Victoria). A gold bearing town, with many ornate buildings in the late Victorian colonial style.

A legacy of the gold boom in Bendigo.

For wednesday, cameras will need their own air conditioners – they will get hammered.

We have the whole day in Bendigo tomorrow, before leaving thursday for Ballarat (gold town), 12 Apostles (Great Ocean Road and Melborne just before easter Friday.
