Being from the west we have been totally spoilt by the Margaret River wine region, so today it was time to go to the Barossa Valley.
Penfolds, Peter Lehman, Grant Burge, Jacobs Creek and Henshke. Shiraz, Cab Sav, Semillon and Chardonnay all found their way into our car. Reward for the skipper later on in the weeks to come.
In our wine tour, we drove through and stopped at many “chocolate box” towns/villages (Nuriootpa, Tanunda, Angaston, Lyndoch, Greenock and Mount Pleasant) full of charming public and private buildings, wonderful shops selling many a collection of wine and crafty items.

We followed a long road through the Adelaide Hills back to our hotel. This road would challenge any rally driver. Steep road down with many blind corners, skinny roads and very close crash barriers on the side.
A very quick Indian feed for dinner and back to our room to relax and watch the 1st AFL game of the season.
Tomorrow will be washing, then a short trip to Port Adelaide to check out the dolphin trail.
